Why This Course Matters
This course provides foundational level knowledge on Microsoft security, compliance, and identity (SCI) concepts and related cloud-based solutions.
You will learn about key concepts of authentication and authorization and why identity is important in securing corporate resources as well as about some identity-related services.
In addition, the course also covers security features of Microsoft Entra ID, Azure, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft 365 Defender, Microsoft’s Service Trust portal, and Microsoft Purview.
Candidates must have:
- A general understanding of networking and cloud computing concepts
- General IT knowledge or any general experience working in an IT environment
- General understanding of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
