Communication is a 2-way street. It involves both the learner with autism AND the communication partner (teacher/ carer/ therapist).
This workshop aims to empower you with the knowledge and skills to support the development of communication skills in your students.
You will participate in a variety of learning activities that will encourage your self-reflection on how the information and key strategies presented can be applied to your students in different environments, including in school and at home.

What to do:
1) Email your Reporting Officer (RO) to inform of your interest to register for the course*.
2) If approved, your RO will route your request to your Track Leader (Teaching Track) / Department Head (Non-teaching track) for final approval.
3) Track Leader/ Dept Head will inform HR of the approved training request.
4) HR will assist with the registration.
5) Upon successful registration, HR will send the registered course details to you.
*The course applied for should be relevant to your professional development needs. You should capture this course you took in your mid-year and end-of-year performance review submissions.
